Singer and Songwriter Liyah Lapidot graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Israel. As a child, she studied piano and guitar and received 7 years of vocal training. Building on the foundation laid by her original inspiration, Stevie Wonder,Prince,Pink Floyd, Annie Lennox and so many others, Liyah brought the use of the microphone to its fullest and most creative potential, as a logical extension of her incredible vocal talent. At the age of 10 she began singing professionally and gave her first live performance in Israel at the Cobra Festival. She continued entertaining the public at major national festivals and appeared on Israeli talk show, Bataverna, with Shimon Parnas. Liyah has performed throughout the Middle East, Europe and North America and her show “Ladies Soul: Tribute to Aretha Franklin,” became a big attraction in renowned nightclubs. Liyah has also produced and written lyrics for her own productions as well as for other artists. She also recorded a top selling CD with the well-known artist, Rita and recorded with hit makers, Kool and the Gang on their album.

Her New York City performances include: Red Lion Club (Bleeker St.), Canal Room (Soho), Village Underground (West 3rd St.), The Groove, Cupping Room, Larger Than Life Show with Alabina in Great Neck, Long Island and in Montreal, Canada as well. She has performed before thousands of people at the Las Vegas Venetian Hotel for Sheldon Edelstein and his family. Deutche Bank hired Liyah to sing for their Superbowl commercial spot. Last year, Liyah sang the National Anthem at the opening of the Israeli Film Festival and for the UFC fight. and preformed at the Independence day of Israel at Woodley Park and Rancho Park for the past four years. Liyah preformed for the IDF and IAC Several times.

Several corporate sponsors have flown Liyah all over the world to perform for them in Miami, Georgia, Las Vegas Amsterdam, Italy, London, Scotland, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
